Physician, Heal Thyself!

My laptop's hosed and I'm rebuilding the hard drive from a fresh format. The funny thing is that a few people I've mentioned that to couldn't grasp the fact the computer repairman's machine is broken. First rebuild of `06!!

Dude, I get that! It's like the mechanics car always being broke down.

In the past week and a half, I set up 2 networks, one in an office and one at someone's home, one wireless, one not, and last night, everyone's in bed, I sit down to do some stuff and my network is hosed. I spent a couple of hours troubleshooting, I got everything back online but there are still issues. It sucks, but even people that are so-called experts, have issues sometimes.

I think it's because our own machines, systems and networks are usually the test environments for anything we want to learn, recommend or deploy. Not sure about you, but I'll bet my registry looks like Swiss Cheese pretty quickly.

An on that note, what do you use (if anything) to clean out your registry?
